What are Jungle Boots?
First seeing action during the Vietnam War, jungle boots were originally designed for combat in tropical and jungle environments. While this replica version is not intended for military use, it still shares many of the same features as the classic boot upon which it is based. Such features include the legendary panama sole, designed to push mud and clay out of the lugs as you walk to ensure excellent traction. Vents near the instep help allow your feet to breathe, and allow any water that gets in to drain out. The uppers are made of canvas instead of leather, aiding in breathability and making the boots extra flexible, while the leather toe looks sharp, takes a shine, and adds a bit of durability to the boot.
